“This is the day which the Lord has brought about; we will rejoice and be glad in it.” (Ps. 118:24)
No matter what you’re facing today, remember this: THIS is the day the Lord has made, and we should choose to praise Him for it.
That’s easy to do on the good days, isn’t it? When we’re celebrating a milestone or a great occasion; when there’s plenty of money in the bank; when everyone we love is healthy and happy.
Yes, God made those days, but He made the bad days too. What I mean by that is that His word teaches us that all of the things that happen in our lives work together for an ultimate good if we put our trust in Him. When those hard things happen, He is right there beside us, working though our circumstances in ways we can’t always see or understand.
So, as you go through the “good” days praising Him, remember to praise Him on the “bad” days as well, believing that you will see His ultimate plans played out.
THIS is the day.
