“Jesus said, ‘Don’t talk about this all over town. Just quietly present your healed body to the priest, along with the appropriate expressions of thanks to God. Your cleansed and grateful life, not your words, will bear witness to what I have done.'” Matt. 8:4

A living testimony – that’s what God wants us to be.

I’m not saying that telling your story isn’t important, because it is. But, unfortunately, there are too many “Christians” who do what my family calls “talking out of both sides of their mouths” – they say one thing one time, and another thing another time, and neither add up to the kind of life Christ taught us to lead.

Instead of only testifying of His work in our lives, we have to testify with our lives. People can refute what you say, but when you lead a consistent, Godly life, there isn’t anything they can argue with.

Making sure your life squares up with your words is the only way to be a truly effective witness for Him.
