“He gets angry once in a while, but across a lifetime there is only love. The nights of crying your eyes out give way to days of laughter.” Psalm 30:5
The weather is a funny thing. You can wake up one morning and it’s gloomy and gray. But by the afternoon, the clouds have parted and sunshine is streaming down on you!
Life can be a funny thing, too. It may seem like things are going downhill, and fast. But just wait a little while. Don’t give up hope. Keep searching those dark clouds for the rays of sunlight pushing through. It might take a while, or some prayer, or a conversation with a good friend, but it will happen. Eventually, the clouds will break and you will see the sun come out again.
As my grandmother used to say, where there’s life, there’s hope. If you’re going through something hard today, I pray that you will cling to that hope and see that better days will be coming just ahead.
