“And he made from one man every nation of mankind to live on all the face of the earth, having determined allotted periods and the boundaries of their dwelling place, that they should seek God, in the hope that they might feel their way toward him and find him. Yet he is actually not far from each one of us,” Acts 17:26-27

Think about this: God’s word makes it clear that none of us is an accident. We are here for a purpose, with a purpose.

Not only that, but He placed us in a specific place, at a specific time, so that we could find Him. How overwhelming to think the God of the universe has our path to Himself set in motion before we even realize it. Before we are born, before we know enough to look for Him, He has our lives planned out in such a way to lead us to Him.

His ultimate goal is restoration with man.

Our ultimate good is to live to glorify Him.

He doesn’t present a relationship with Himself as a lofty, unattainable goal available only to the privileged few, but as the whole reason for our being. He makes a way, time and again, for that to happen.

He isn’t hiding, but we should be seeking.
